Sterling Silver

This is 99.5% pure silver. The remaining percentage is copper. This is the most common form of silver used in jewelry. It can be cleaned in a variety of ways, including polishing cloths. Baking soda is always a safe choice for cleaning silver when gemstones are involved. Either use the baking soda dry, or you can make a paste with water. Rub with a cloth, toothbrush, or your fingers and shake or rinse with water.
