About the Artists

Kadrmas Jewelry Designs are created by Joyce and Chad Kadrmas, using precious metals and gemstones.  Many of their designs are individually hand sculpted with fine silver and accented with pearls or gemstones.  Our primary media is Precious Metal Clay, or P.M.C.  This is a unique material that combines a clay catalyst with fine silver particles.  After each piece is made, it is fired in a kiln to burn away the clay catalyst leaving 999% pure fine silver. Fine silver is softer than sterling silver, but having no impurities, is is tarnish free.

Both designers have studied fine art and jewelry design in college, with Chad studying in Rochestor MN . Joyce graduated in 1991 from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

They have been in business since 1996 and participate in juried fine art festivals around the country.
